Covid-19, WFH and what’s next?

After what could be portrayed as a generation-defining moment last night from our prime minister, there have been strict new curbs on life in the UK to tackle the spread of coronavirus.

People may only leave home to exercise once a day, to travel to and from work where “absolutely necessary”, to shop for essential items, and to fulfil any medical or care needs.

Shops selling non-essential goods have been told to shut and gatherings in public of more than two people who do not live together will be prohibited.

The UK government has sent a mass text message to as many phones as possible, urging citizens to stay at home during the coronavirus lockdown.

New rules in force now: you must stay at home

GOV.UK CORONAVIRUS ALERT

It goes on to restate the government’s new slogan for its coronavirus response:

Stay at home. Protect the NHS. Save lives.
